Novaroll, a producer and distributor of transport and food packaging, is a company with an extensive and complex branch network. The company has facilities and offices in many cities in Russia. To support its business growth, Novaroll needed to expand its IT infrastructure, but it was a big challenge because its data were unsystematized and stored in siloes and because the company had several legal entities.
At the customer discovery stage Softline identified that Novaroll "outgrew" the capacities it had. The existing infrastructure had a certain limit, beyond which further scaling became impossible.

The HPE Nimble storage system features the HPE Infosight cloud-based predictive analytics service, which leverages AI technology to provide high hardware availability (AIOps). With this service, the platform can predict breakdowns or component outages. If the AI detects signs of a problem, it compares them with the knowledge base content. The system can automatically notify the helpdesk service, anticipating a possible hardware failure. For example, if a hard drive is near failure (which could lead to system malfunction in the future), the customer support team is notified and a service engineer fixes the problem as part of the warranty.
