Remneftegas LLC is a holding company specializing in the supply of materials for the repair and operation of oil and gas pipelines, special industry tests of equipment and products, as well as capital overhaul, construction works, and engineering support of projects.
The company's management had to ensure the uninterrupted IT infrastructure operation, which minimizes the undesirable downtime of user workstations. Softline was chosen as the project partner because its specialists have many years of experience in technical support and outsourcing and work with both large and small businesses.
As the equipment that needed technical support was located in a small office with less than 50 workstations, Softline offered the customer a standard service package that fully satisfied the current needs for IT system monitoring at an optimal price.
As part of the project, Softline created a dedicated line to resolve technical queries through Service Desk, email, and by phone. Softline engineers configured and installed networking equipment, administered productivity software, and provided technical management services. Support covers technical, email, and proxy servers, as well as user workstations (laptops and PCs), peripheral equipment, and security systems.
As a result, the company no longer needed to hire in-house engineers, which significantly reduced the payroll and provided all necessary IT services without compromising the infrastructure fault tolerance.
"Softline's service portfolio features package solutions that include a varying number of services provided on different terms. With such options, the customer can choose the optimal set of technical support functions and regularly monitor the IT systems, increasing their fault tolerance and operability,"— said Sergey Smolov, Softline Sales Lead.
