Infotelecom is an insourcing company that maintains and manages IT assets in twenty geographically distributed legal entities. The specifics of their activities place increased demands on the performance and fault tolerance of the IT infrastructure. To ensure the continuity of business processes and the correct operation of corporate services, additional computing power was required.
As options for solving the problem, the customer considered the placement of equipment in the provider's data center or the transition to the cloud infrastructure. To optimize financial and time costs, Infotelecom decided to use the cloud infrastructure. Softline was chosen as an IT partner which has rich expertise in the field of cloud hosting: the company's customer pool includes hundreds of cloud consumers from various industries.
Softline specialists offered the customer the creation of a private cloud in a Tier III data center based on VMware with parameters corresponding to the company's needs. As a result, Infotelecom received a scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure in the cloud, where it hosted corporate services of its serviced legal entities. According to the SLA terms, the customer received the recorded performance of the equipment and the response rate of technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
“We have provided Infotelecom with a flexible and manageable infrastructure in a private cloud. Now the customer can use additional server capacities without incurring capital expenditures for the purchase of equipment, virtualization and technical support,” notes Dmitrii Kravchenko, Regional Head of Cloud Services at Softline.
