The Nonpublic Joint Stock Company Technology Transfer Center of the Building Complex of the Krasnodar Region Omega is one of the participants in the construction for the XXII Olympic Winter Games. The company has built seven facilities in Sochi, including the Adler Arena skating center, the Main Media Center, and a race track. The customer's IT team was tasked with protecting the internal network from malicious files, viruses, spyware, and other Internet threats. Softline, which became a partner of the project, proposed Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business as a solution combining advanced anti-virus protection tools and simple control.
The Kaspersky Lab's software product has an anti-phishing system, anti-spam technologies and flexible control tools to restrict the launch of unauthorized applications and access to potentially dangerous network resources. As a result, the company's IT infrastructure received centralized protection against potentially dangerous programs, hacker attacks and spam. Network administrators received tools to control all outgoing and incoming information flows.
“The main result of the project is the high level of security of the company’s IT infrastructure, centralized software management, automatic updating of anti-virus databases. The implemented solution provided network administrators with transparent and functional tools to ensure the security of workstations,” said Valerii Danchenko, Director General of Omega Center NJSC.
“Softline specialists have extensive experience working with Kaspersky Lab products, which allowed us to protect the customer's IT infrastructure in a short time. Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business provides comprehensive security for all network devices without losing the performance of virtual and physical machines,” Konstantin Iakunin, Head of the Major Corporate Customer Department at Softline, commented on the project’s results.
