Get to know Igor
Igor Borovikov graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1986. He continued his academic career with a postgraduate studies followed by a position in the Academy of Sciences from 1989 to 1992, where he earned his Ph.D. and publishing over 30 scientific papers.
Igor Borovikov founded Softline in 1993. Under Igor's leadership, Softline became a global IT company with branches in 30 countries. Igor’s business administration talent, vision and determination led Softline from scientific software sales to implementation of comprehensive and innovative IT solutions. Today, thousands of clients entrust Softline responsible and important projects. Softline serves both international corporations and ambitious startups, industry giants and small businesses, state organizations and private sector leaders.
In 2010 and 2012, Igor Borovikov was the winner of the Top 25 Best Russian IT Business Leaders ranking. In 2013, he was included into the Top-100 Russian Internet Millionaires by the Secret Firmy magazine and became one of the Top-50 Russian IT Venture Investors. The next year EY named him the Entrepreneur of the Year in the field of IT services.
Besides ambitious business initiatives, Igor also participates in a number of important social projects. Since 2009, he is a member of the Board of the Russian Non-Governmental Organization for Small and Medium Business OPORA RUSSIA and the head of its IT Committee. In 2015 he was invited into the Digital Economy Development Working Group in APAC operating under the aegis of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) — one of the 5 regional commissions of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
Igor Borovikov pays a lot of attention to the rising generation of future IT professionals: Softline and its partners implement a number of educational programs to foster new talents and standardize the IT education system.
Igor’s hobbies include philosophy, psychology, skiing, hockey, and art.
Managing Director Da Vinci Capital
Dennis Fulling is the Managing Partner of the Da Vinci Capital Group and is responsible for pipeline development, portfolio companies management and general management. He has over 25 years of professional experience in the financial sector, including 13 years in Russia.
Dennis was previously the CFO of Norilsk Nickel International as well as holding previous positions as: Group Treasurer of the Renaissance Group, CFO of Renaissance Capital Group and Renaissance Capital Consumer Finance Bank, Vice President of MasterCard International and Controller/CFO of American Express Russia. Since 2007, Dennis has led a club of private investors which has realized close to USD 20m in investments, with a focus on Russian financial services, internet, and technology companies.
Managing Partner Da Vinci Capital
Oleg Jelezko is the CEO and Managing Partner of the Da Vinci Capital Group and is responsible for investment strategy and group operations. He has over 24 years of investment management, banking and management consulting experience in the United Kingdom, Russia, and emerging markets. Currently, Oleg sits on the boards of several Da Vinci Capital portfolio companies – ITinvest, Softline, First Collection Bureau and Alaska Originale.
Prior to founding Da Vinci Capital, he served as Head of the Equity Structured Products Group and Managing Director at Renaissance Capital. Previously Oleg served as a director and COO at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, where he was responsible for Emerging Markets Equities and Derivatives. From 1992 to 1998, he worked as an IT and strategy consultant in Andersen Consulting and McKinsey & Co. in the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and Russia.
Global CEO of Softline
Sergey Chernovolenko was born in 1965. He graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Since 1997 he has been working in the IT industry. He has 25 years of experience in business, 20 years of which have been connected with IT. He was engaged in business development in many Russian and international companies. He got 10-year experience of work in various countries. He was Director General of Xerox in Turkey for 3 years, led the Xerox business in 11 Eastern European countries with the center in London,and worked at the headquarters of Xerox in London for 2 years. He was in charge of the Xerox business in Russia and the CIS for three and a half years. Sergey Chernovolenko was appointed as Global CEO of Softline in May 2018.
Artem Tarakanov – Global CFO, responsible for strategic and operational management of finance function in Softline.
Artem graduated with honors from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Faculty of economics in 1997 with the degree Bachelor of Economics, major area: financial management. In 1999 got degree Master of Science in Economics, major area: accounting and financial analysis from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Faculty of economics. Member of ACCA since 2003. In 2009 got MBA degree from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business.
Artem has more than 20 years of professional experience, managing finance function in big companies (Daimler, Cadbury, EuroChem , Walgreens Boots Alliance) on Russian and international markets. Artem has a number of publications on the strategy of value creation for the company.
Hobbies: astronomy, history, windsurfing, mounting skiing.

Get to know Elena
Elena Volotovskaya graduated from the Faculty of Global Economics of the State University of Management in Moscow. In 2006, she became a Ph.D. in Economics and continued her education in the California State University, getting an MBA degree in 2008.
Today Elena is an investment guru with many years of experience in the field of M&A. She began her career in Softline as a Director for Institutional Investor Relations, and then founded the Softline Venture Partners Fund. The Fund amount is over 20 million USD, and its portfolio has over 15 projects. The Fund invests in Cloud&SaaS, digital marketing, enterprise software, information security and e-commerce. Elena also runs the joint fund of Softline and the RVC seed fund that makes seed investments into technology projects.
Elena not only runs these funds, but also devotes much time to social projects. She sits in the OPORA Russia IT Committee and is a member of the Opora for IT board — an IT project competition for small and medium businesses in Russia. In 2013, Elena has received the prestigious Venture Award 2013 in the category Venture Lady of the Year.
Elena is married and has two daughters. Sports and reading good books is an indispensable part of her life.

Ruslan is one of the main personalities behind the impressive story of Softline success. Ruslan’s work was very fruitful for Softline, and the company helped him fulfil his potential as a top class professional. Ruslan is in charge of daily business operations, in a very responsible position that requires both perfect risk management skills and a progressive mindset — the ability to keep the company abreast of the technological advances. It would be impossible without such Ruslan’s traits as reasonable prudence and passion for innovation.
Ruslan started working as a sales manager in Softline in 1996. His performance was outstanding even when compared to the overall IT growth in those years. He also proved himself to be a cool-headed manager, in 2001 he was appointed the head of the division, and in 2003 he became the Softline sales director.
Under his leadership, the sales department structure has been ordered, and outstanding results have been achieved in software sales. From 2004 to 2007, the corporate turnover grew tenfold and amounted to more than 100 million dollars. Since 2008 Ruslan Belousov is the General Director of Softline, leading the company to new markets: services, cloud, and hardware.
Ruslan has received the aircraft engineering education. In 1991, he graduated from the Faculty of Avionics of Moscow Aviation Institute, specializing in radio engineering. He quickly understood that his vocation is in business, and continued education in this field. In 2003, Ruslan graduated from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, where he participated in the Technological Management presidential program, and in 2005 he received the MBA degree in the field of Innovative Project, Investment and Risk Management. He also received the Executive MBA degree in the Skolkovo business school in 2016. Ruslan emphasizes that education is an important part of his life: it is important to keep learning to go beyond the achieved results, systemize and reinterpret the acquired work experience to generate new practicable ideas.

Get to know Maxim
Maxim’s education was dedicated to economics and business management. In 2000, he graduated from the Saint Petersburg Trade and Economic Institute, receiving a degree in economics specializing in accounting and audit. In 2010, he graduated from the People’s Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) with honors, receiving an MBA degree in Business Management.
He started working in Softline in 2005, holding the position of the Business Development Director in the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. At that time, the company has already opened branches in Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The business relations of these countries with Russia, the understanding of local culture and economy allowed the company to successfully establish the branches and get a share on the local markets.
Under Maxim’s leadership, new branches were established in Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Mongolia (2007), Armenia (2008), and Moldova (2010). After a while, an Eastern Europe region was created in Softline (Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania), so Romania was also added to the area of his responsibility. Scaling the global corporate expertise to new territories and relying on the best local employees and partners helped Maxim make Softline a leader of the local IT markets.
Today, Maxim is in charge of 11 branches located in countries with different cultures and business customs. In every region, the company strives to adapt its solution portfolio, knowledge, and expertise to the local background to become the top market player. Achievement of these goals would be impossible without Maxim’s deep market and technology knowledge and unrivalled business acumen.

Get to know Igor
A role of international business executive requires a blend of a deep knowledge of diverse markets worldwide and a strong focus on perfectly preset development priorities. Igor combines both with a clear vision of Softline’s path to truly global IT solution and services provider. In the present he is responsible for business development beyond Russia and former Soviet Union.
Igor Petlyakov started his career in Softline in 2008 as a Development Director for Latin America. His passion for this part of the world has a strong background, a Master Degree in International Relations with LATAM specialization from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. However, after his graduation in 2000 he found that business administration better suited his competitive spirit than foreign affairs. After a few years on various positions in automotive, woodworking and other industries Igor joined Softline preparing at that time to enter Latin American market.
Igor’s hard work made it possible to launch from scratch the first Softline branch on the other side of the Atlantic in Venezuela in 2008, followed soon by Argentina (2009), Colombia (2010), Peru (2011), Costa Rica (2012) and Chile (2013). With his skill to address multiple tasks simultaneously, Igor managed to create a comprehensive solutions portfolio, establish tight relations with major software and hardware vendors, build strong teams in all locations, earn Softline a reputation of reliable and technology-aware service provider. Close partnership with Microsoft and Large Account Reseller status for all Softline branches in Latin American countries belong to his key achievements.
As a proven leader capable of responding hard challenges Igor was appointed to a post of Vice President International in 2013. Currently his primary objectives include significant growth of services share in Softline’s business with particular focus on cloud solutions as well as increase of a share of non-Russian business.

Get to know Atul
An accidental visit in 1993 to a IT institute, to be a Software Engineer is what got Atul to get hooked onto technology and from there on it was technology all the way. A veteran of 22 years plus, in the Asia Pacific market, based out of India, Atul in his current role is expanding the footprint of Softline Group in ASIA as he is responsible for developing new markets and growing the business in Softline’s ASIA businesses (India, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia).
From doing startups, to setup new business units and developing markets for new technologies, his experiences with Microsoft Corporation, Citrix Systems, Tata Infotech has covered two decades plus of technology era and many shifts from Y2K, to Dot Com to Cloud & Mobility and the latest buzz word of “Digital”.
Atul, has been with Softline since October 2014, where he did the India startup to begin with and is now growing the business in ASIA region.
Chief Technology Officer and Microsoft Alliance Vice President
Sergio is a 21 years IT and Telco Industries veteran, including a 14 years tenure at Microsoft, having worked in engineering, sales, consulting, and business development roles. He also has experience as an entrepreneur and Microsoft Azure startup founder.
Global Alliances Director
Evgeny has chosen a career path in IT in his student years. His rich industry background originates in Bauman Technical University in Moscow where he earned а Master degree in Computing and Aerial Vehicle Flight Automation. Lated he continues studies at Radioelectronics and Automation Academy in Moscow where he Electronics Design and Development.
Evgeny Tkachenko works in different companies in IT industry over 15 years, 8 of them in Softline. After 5 years of career as a Corporate Sales Director he switched to International Business Development. He spent a year in India playing an important role of Softline’s operations launch in this country. Currently Evgeny heads Softline in the USA and is also responsible for global partner relations with world leaders in software, hardware and cloud computing.
