Igor Borovikov founded Softline in 1993. Under Igor's leadership, Softline became a global IT company with branches in 30 countries. Igor’s business administration talent, vision and determination led Softline from scientific software sales to the implementation of comprehensive and innovative IT solutions. Today, thousands of clients entrust Softline with their principal projects. Softline serves both international corporations and ambitious start-ups, industry giants and small businesses, state organisations and private-sector leaders.
In 2010 and 2012, Igor Borovikov was the winner of the Top 25 Best Russian IT Business Leaders ranking. In 2013, he was included in the Top-100 Russian Internet Millionaires by the Firm’s Secret online magazine, and became one of the Top-50 Russian IT.
As Global CEO of Softline, Sergey Chernovolenko plays a key role in the group’s strategy, governance, and day-to-day operations. Prior to joining Softline in May 2018, Sergey had built up a wealth of managerial and sales experience in numerous roles and regions with Xerox, who he began working with in 1997. Starting out as Head of Administration and Security, over the following six years, Sergey held numerous managerial roles at Xerox in Russia and the CIS, including Sales Director and Deputy General Director, before being assigned to Xerox’s DMO (Developing Market Operations) division – responsible for the development of the company’s business in emerging markets. In turn, this led to him heading up Xerox’s representative office in Turkey in 2004, being appointed VP and CEO of Xerox CIT in 2007 (Central and Eastern Europe, Israel and Turkey), and VP of Consumables Business Development in 2012.
After a brief stint heading Cisco’s operations in Russia between 2013 and 2014, Sergey returned to Xerox in 2015 as Head of Xerox Eurasia. In this position, he was responsible for developing Xerox’s business and strategic positioning throughout the region. Sergey is a graduate of the Moscow Border Institute, and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Banking. He has also completed a course on growth through service at INSEAD, attended the Center of Creative Leadership program for vice presidents of corporations, and holds Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Sergey is married with three children, and his interests include Russian history and playing football.
